Job Description:

Start from August 18, 2020, two year contract

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons;
-
Assigning, correcting and marking work;
-
Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of students;
-
Promoting the general progress and well-being of students;
-
Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers;
-
Working with other members of the school staff and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students;
-
Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies in line with WLSA curriculum framework guidelines;
-
Participating in-house training program and contributing to the professional development program of school;
-
Maintaining good order and discipline amongs students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times;
-
Nurturing a culture where teachers view themselves essentially as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners.

For A Level English candidate, the big plus if experience of teaching IGCSE ESL/EFL or IGCSE English literature
Requirements:

Native English speakers with at least bachelor's degree in literature, linguistics or English
-
Minimum two years teaching experiences
-
Passion in education and be capable of motivating students and helping shape their futures
-
TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate with practicum or teaching license / certifications
-
Ability to work well on a team with others
-
Ability to differentiate implementation of curriculum
Benefit:

The salary is competitive and to be negotiated (22-35K), based on education background, teaching and administrative experience, workload etc.
